An antique copper engraved plan of Rome, Italy on hand laid paper. Features four corners illustrated with Roman coins and flanked by a number key of 52 places of interest.

Engraved by James Basire and published London from 1747-68 by Richardson, Osborne, Hitch and others.

Dimensions: 18 x 30cm (image only) with good margins around the map.

Condition: Plate mark evident, some toning, fold line as original, no restoration or repairs
